The Burned Pharaoh
This former military contractor with several tours in the Middle East now works as a security specialist in the private sector.
Adopted and raised in Wyoming by a family of Greek immigrants, Arista Kynigos began hunting and fishing almost as soon as she could walk, and displayed an uncanny talent with bows and firearms. With few prospects for her future in the rural community where she was raised, Arista joined the Army, and served several tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, where despite the ban on women serving in frontline positions she found her supply convoy under attack. For more than a day Arista held off attacks by insurgents as her comrades fell injured or dead. It was her near-perfect accuracy with her rifle that drew the attention of her true mother, the goddess Artemis, who spirited her away from the battle and gifted her with divine armaments and a squadron of Amazons to fight at her side. Listed as MIA by the Army, Arista began to use her martial skills both to earn a living as a private contractor and, on occasion, to assassinate titanspawn or humans under their sway.
